He was predeceased by: his parent Levi Ayers. He is survived by: his parent Alma Sims Ayers; his brothers, Henry Ayers, Donald Ayers, Coy Ayers, Alvin Ayers and David Ayers; his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Ayers and Billy Edwards; his wife Vivian Ayers of Lula; his siblings, Claudine Lewallen of Lula, Doug Ayers of Alto and Leola Edwards of Lula; his siblings-in-law, Clyde Weaver of Alto and Cathy Weaver of Alto; and also, Gordon Lewallen of Lula and Brenda Ayers of Alto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
