He was predeceased by: his parents, Mellie Clyde and Maybelle Pritchett Meeks; and his grandsons, Josh and Zac Gardiner. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Massey Meeks of Lula; his children, Sandra Rylee (Dave) of Maysville, Pat Gardiner (Alan Farmer) of Homer, Amy Nunn (Tim) of Commerce and Alan Meeks (Cindy) of Lula; and his grandchildren, Jill, Steven, Brandon, Caleb, Haiden, Holden and Hunter. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
