It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Mae Forrester of Lula, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel Mae Forrester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Hiram England; her husbands, Rufus Messer and Walter Forrester; her children, Coy Forrester and Helen Nale; her children-in-law, Joe Garrett and Gloria Messer; her grandchildren, Mike Nale and Debbie Garrett Jordan; and her siblings, Annie Vanzant, Maude Snapp, Tommy England, Elmer England and Ronald England.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Messer of Warner Robins, Lucille Garrett of Spartanburg, SC and Lou Ann Duckett of Alto; and also, Eva Mae Forrester, Frankie Helton and Mary Lee Hutchinson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
In Memory of Mrs. Forrester, the family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, #222, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
