He was predeceased by: his father Joe Gosnell; and his sister Ruth Baker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith Gosnell of Lula; his son Bobby Joe Gosnell, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Tara of Alto; his children, Amanda Tyler of Lula, Casey "Bubba" Tyler of Lula, Stacy Tyler of Green County, GA, Tommy Davidson of Alto and Alton Davidson of Alto; and his siblings, Belle Ledford of Clarkesville, Lizzy Gosnell of Mt. Airy and Fred Gosnell of Homer. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
