With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Byrd Christopher of Lula, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Anthony Byrd departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anthony Byrd may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anthony Byrd leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Carl Christopher and Evelyn Louise White Christopher. He is survived by: his brother Andy Carl Chistopher of Lula; his stepmother Sherry Blackwell of Lula; his aunt Annette Davis of Danielsville; and his uncle Jerry White (Penny) of Gainesville. He is also survived by several cousins, other extended relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Chapel (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
