He is survived by: his sister Annette Eason (Gary) of Baxley; his nephew Jeremy Eason (Nyra) of Raleigh, NC; his close friend Joan Thornton of Jesup; his stepchildren, Renee Patterson (Emmett) of Ludowici, Nadine Mullis of Hazlehurst, Lynn Giddens (Kevin) of Moultrie and Joe Smith (Teresa) of Ludowici; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Freeman of Ludowici and Ellis Freeman (Hazel) of Darien.
