It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Poppell (Ludowici, Georgia), who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Rowe Poppell of Ludowici; his sons, Brock, Jamie Poppell, Brad and Katelyn Poppell of Ludowici; his siblings, Iona Ryals of Townsend and George Poppell of Ludowici; and his grandchildren, Luke Poppell, Mary Ellen Poppell, Brody Poppell, Ava Poppell, Braxton Mezo, Cheyenne Giddens, Gene Sheppard, Jr., Lillie Poppell, Christy Beepath, Cindy Baxter, Steve, June Rush, LeeAnn Thomas and Bill Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
