Marcus Yarbrough Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus Yarbrough of Ludowici, Georgia, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Yarbrough and James Yarbrough (JC); his son Marcus Colon Yarbrough; his brothers, Larry and Levy Yarbrough; and his brother-in-law Jerry Gilner.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Henderson (Cordell) of Hinesville, James Woods of Clyo and Mark Yarbrough of Bath, NY; his close friend Selisa Hearn; his cousins, Faye and Allen Harris; his sisters, Doris Gilner and Kathy Kersey (Larry) of Ludowici; his daughters, Brittney Butrum (Wesley), Kathleen Richardson (Mikey) and Kayla Rose; and his grandchildren, Landon, Lillianna, Lorali, Jamie Lee Woods, Terry, Sophia Butrum, Audrey Kelly and Dashawn Henderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beginning Church (2047 GA-57, Ludowici, GA 31316). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
