Joyce Williams Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Williams of Ludowici, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Williams to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayor Clyde Gordon and Olive Gordon; and her sibling Jerry D. Gordon. She is survived by: her husband O. L. Williams; her daughter Becky Swindell Davis; her siblings, Laverne Sundy, Mary Lois Moon and James A. Gordon; her daughters, Terri McGowan (Mike), Billie Ann Wingate (Kerry, Sr.) of Ludowici and Toni Swindell Dykes of Colonels Island; and her siblings, Jean Gordon of St. Simons Island, Elaine Dunham of Ludowici, Carol Nail of Vidalia and Johnny Gordon (Anita) of Ludowici. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ludowici First Baptist Church (705 Mc Donald St, Ludowici, GA 31316). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
