He is survived by: his wife Suzette Wheeler Simpson of St. Simons Island; his children, Amy Simpson of St. Simons Island, Jay Simpson (Brandi) and Steven Simpson (Lisa Michalski); his sister Sue Simpson Hock of Hinesville; his grandchildren, Jesse Yancey (Jennifer), Kylie Dixon (Dan), Shane Wells, Madeline Simpson, Dennis Simpson and Christopher Simpson; and his great grandchild Macey Dixon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
