He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Smith Poole of Ludowici; his children, Alishia Poole of Ludowici, Janna Swartz (Robert) of Ludowici, Leonard Poole (Shelley) of Ludowici, Lamar Poole (Leeann) of Ludowici, Jessie Poole (Brenda) of Cedar Crossing and Greg Poole of Jesup; and his siblings, Irene Kirksey (Terry) of Bloomingdale, Sue Owens (Wayne) of Hinesville and Max Poole of Atlanta. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
