He was predeceased by: his parents, Livingston Calhoun Townsend, Sr. and Ruthlyn McIntosh Townsend; and also Cal Livingston, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Ginn (Robert) of Townsend and Rene Jacobs (Travis) of Nahunta; his nephews, Brian Ginn (Fain) of St. Simons Island and Joey Saunds (Kibrie) of Nahunta; his niece Ruthie Wesley (Will) of East Palatka, FL; his uncle D. L. McIntosh (MaryAnn) of Shellman Bluff; and his close friend Beverly Young of Townsend. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Davis Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
