He was predeceased by: his daughter Valerie Lynn Pennington; and his brother Elton Pennington. He is survived by: his wife Martha Pennington; his daughter Anissa Edwards; his son-in-law David; and his grandchildren, Lane Edwards of Ludowici and Emma Edwards of Ludowici. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
