He is survived by: his wife Mia Groover of Ludowici; his sons, Tyler Groover and Andrew Groover of Ludowici; his aunts, Pam (John Jordan), Sybil Theus and Connie (Dupree Groover); and his uncle Miles (Carlene Groover). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
