He was predeceased by: his parents, Bolivar Peek and Lucille Cherry Peek; his brothers, Woodson and Ellis Peek; his sons, Bob Peek (Janice) of Louvale, Georgia, Lynn Peek (Kathy) of Louvale, Georgia, Phil of Louvale, Georgia and Don Peek of Louvale, Georgia; and his great grandchild Cole Hillard.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Perry Peek of Louvale, Georgia; his daughter Betty Jo Smith (Gordan) of Louvale, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Kim Peek Tyler, Mitzi Peek Lynch (Chad), Sallie Peek Long (Chad) and Casey Smith Rowan (Michael); his great grandchildren, Chase Long, Bentley Long, Kassidy Kennedy (Benji Nobles), Ty, Daylin Rowan and Trent Tyler; his great great grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson, Drake Long and Nolyn Nobles; his aunt Claudia; and his uncle Whit Brightwell.
