He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Walden and Ernest Lowery; his wife Shirlene Morgan; his son Sammie Morgan, Jr.; and his sisters, Christan Morgan, Betsy and Philbert.
He is survived by: his daughter Erica Tennyson-Green (Gregory) of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Emma Norris of Tennille, GA, Annette Outley (Sammie), Solomon Morgan (Cora) of Waynesboro, VA and Robert Walden (Felisha); his brother-in-law Jimmie Brinson; and his close friend Myretter Tomlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at Helen Clark Memorial Park, Peachtree St, burial at Ebenezer Cemetery, with mask and social distancing.
