He is survived by: his wife Sue Stephens; his children, Angela Stephens Hullender (Garland) of Ringgold and Mark Alan Stephens (Jessica) of Ringgold; his grandchildren, Macie Karenna Nichols (Adam) and Eric Tanner Stephens; his brother Wendell F. Stephens (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Jerry B. O'Shields. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
