He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy L. Stephens and Birda L. Sloan Stephens; and his brothers, Lebron J. Stephens and DeWayne E. Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Sue Stephens; his children, Angela Stephens Hullender (Garland) of Ringgold and Mark Alan Stephens (Jessica) of Ringgold; his grandchildren, Macie Karenna Nichols (Adam) and Eric Tanner Stephens; his brother Wendell F. Stephens (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Jerry B. O'Shields. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Louisville First Baptist Church (101 E 9th St, Louisville, GA 30434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Louisville First Baptist Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital.
