He is survived by: his father George Dempsey Sparks; his wife Bonnie O. Sparks; his daughters, Terri S. Dudley of Louisville and Laura Sparks of Louisville; and his granddaughters, Maura Dudley of Louisville and Jennifer Dudley (Tripp Smith) of Athens.
