He is survived by: his children, Joseph Nelson (Kim) of Thomson, GA, Timothy Nelson, Bryant Nelson, Lisa (Larry), Sharon Nelson (Marico) and Vanessa Nelson (Richie); his sisters, Mary Lee Nelson and Norma Jean Nelson; and his close friend Carolyn Conaway of Wrens, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
