She was predeceased by: her mother Josie Wells; her spouse Charlie Tarver; her uncle Freeman Wells; her cousin Ed Willie Wells; her parents-in-law, Cora Huntley and Ben Huntley Sr.; her sister-in-law Vinnie Malloy; and her brother Dr. Roy A. Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Elder Ricky Wells (Elder Ruby); her granddaughter Brittany; her stepgranddaughters, Jaquana and Jaquita Thomas Combs (Tory) of Louisville, GA; her great grandchildren, Malaya and Ti'nori; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyquavius, Jamoijnee Howell, Gia and Toryon; and her siblings-in-law, Delois Huntley of McDonough, GA, Josie Bell Hadden of Huntsville, AL, Annie Dora Roberts of Marietta, GA, Alvonia Stroizer of Jonesboro, GA, Daisy Carr (Ben Jr.) of Graniteville, SC, Jacqueline White of Hephzibah, GA, Ben Huntley Jr., Abe Huntley (Carolyn) of Louisville, GA, Kris Huntley (Patricia) of Conyers, GA, James Huntley, Donnell Huntley (Nicole) of Fairburn, GA and Ronnell Huntley of Albany, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (9815 GA-17, Louisville, GA 30434).
