It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Martin of Louisville, Georgia, born in Soperton, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Von Thigpen and Edith Idell Hall Thigpen; her husband Otis Martin; and her siblings, Ira Thigpen, Oswald Thigpen, Pascal Thigpen and Yuvawn Tapley.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Von Martin (Phyllis) of Thomson and Jan Marsh (Terrell) of Kathleen; her sister Evelyn Jennings; and her close friends, Mary Caran and Ruth Bargeron. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Because of the family's concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing, masks are required, and other safety precautions be followed.
