He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Charlie" Poole Sr. and Mary Morris Poole; his wife Linda Storey Poole; and his siblings, Otis Ashmore Poole, Ester Florene Poole and Mary Frances Poole Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Grayland James Poole (Melanie) and Charlene Poole Weathers (David); his stepsons, Edward Salter (Teresa) and Otis Holt, Jr.; his grandchildren, Clifford Charles Hess (Amberle), Soleil Poole Smith (Jonathan), Rylan Tucker Poole (Aimee), Jace Alexander Poole and Sky Alyssa Poole; his stepgrandchildren, Phillip Salter, Macy Salter and Mary Ashton Salter; his great grandchildren, Eric Conrad Hess, Guinevere Grace Hess, Ember Smith and Colton Smith; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter Salter, River, Riley Salter and Ryder Salter. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Louisville Methodist Church.
