He was predeceased by: his parents, Elgie L. Davis and Mary Wilkins Davis; his siblings, Scootch Davis, Herbert Davis, Willard Davis and Jeanette Willie; and his granddaughter Rachael Akridge.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Davis of Metter and Linda Davis Bryant (Mark) of Louisville; his siblings, J. E. Davis (Frankie) of Louisville, Virginia Davis Pruitt of Freeport, FL and Terisa Hopkins (Lee) of Evans; and his grandchildren, Natalie Sills, Sara Dampier, Jack Harrill, Alison Bryant and Kalein Bryant. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces, nephews and friends.
