She was predeceased by: her parents, Platt River and Alma Williams Brown; her husband Donald G. Goodwin, Sr.; her son Daniel Comer Goodwin; and her siblings, Evelyn Brown, Lucille Thomas, Rubye Thomas, Agnes Sykes, Grace Livesay, Platt River "Buddy" Brown, Jr. and William Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Donald G. Goodwin, Jr. of Martinez, GA, Frances "Cissy" Lamb of Gray, GA, Susan and Jim Darden of Watkinsville, GA; her grandchildren, Duke Miller of Atlanta, GA, Nicole and Leon Pellicer of San Diego, CA; her great grandchildren, Kai Deuley of Milledgeville, GA, Mila, Ari Bella and Georgia Pellicer of San Diego, CA; and her daughter Jane Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
