He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Massey and Elsie Smith Massey; and his siblings, Bobby, Kenneth, Virgie, Barbara, Johnny, Aaron, Arlie, Wayne, Brenda and Deborah.
He is survived by: his spouse Tommie Ruth Bohannon; and his children, W. Rufus Massey Jr. (Mary Anne), Cheryl Williams (John), Sabra Price (Butch), Daryl Massey (Kelly) and Tracy Massey (Paula). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Trenton (11910 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Mount Carmel Gospel Cemetery Wes Ln (38 Winfred Dr., Rising Fawn, GA 30738).
