Mark left this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Earl Anderson; his brother Hugh Anderson; his daughter Classie; and his grandchildren, Oliver and Anne.
He is survived by: his mother Sarah Nell Anderson of Okalona, MS; his wife Judy; his brother Andy Anderson (Judy Anderson); his children, Sarah (Wesley), Vivian (Nicholas), Olivia, Graham and August; and his grandchildren, Cassian, Evangeline, Beatrix and Mark.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church (1227 Scenic Hwy, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750). He helped lead Chattanooga through the COVID-19 pandemic by educating our community leaders to find ways of safely fostering connection in spite of our social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chattanooga Public Library, Southeast Tennessee Project Access, or Bethel Bible Village.
