It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Aslee Brooks of Loganville, Georgia, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Brooks; her sons, Kenneth Brooks and Roger "Buddy" Brooks; her grandson Chris Dalton; and her parents, Jack Green and Kate Green (McGiboney).
She is survived by: her daughter Marie; her son-in-law Lamar Dalton of Loganville, GA; her son James; and her daughters-in-law, Vivian Brooks of Monroe, GA and Ellia Brooks of Conyers, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.
