It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royce Hugh Taffar of Loganville, Georgia, born in Dawson, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Taffar and Nell Ryder Taffar; his children, Terry Allen Taffar and Teresa Michelle Nix; and his granddaughter Amanda Michelle Nix Snowden.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Atchley Taffar; his daughter Susan; his son-in-law Jimmy Garrison of Commerce, GA; his grandchildren, Ashley Taffar, David Hoag (CO), Terry Taffar (CA), Dustin, Kristine Nix of Monroe, GA, Kassi and Hunter Faulkner (CA); his great grandchildren, Kingston Snowden, Adler Nix, Everleigh Faulkner, Audrey Hoag, Madison Faulkner and Saylor Nix; and his sister Barbara Taffar Westmoreland.
