He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Edward Alexander Simpson, Sr.; his brother Hugh Edward Alexander Simpson, Jr.; and his wife Sarah E. Simpson. He is survived by: his mother Joan Simpson; his sister Marilynne Jean Orlando; his son Robert Simpson (Rob); and also, Jessyca Baker and Joseph Baker.
