He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Vera Cecelia Michalowski (Nelson); his parents, Peter Michalowski and Alexandria Michalowski (Barszewska); his siblings, Jane Aspblom, Anne Mickalowski and Leo Mickalowski; his children, Sandra Michalowski of Loganville, GA and Bob; his daughter-in-law Kristie Michalowski; and his grandsons, Kyle and Kevin Michalowski.
