He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Clack Boss; his grandson Travis Ruark; and his parents, Lucille Boozer Boss and Jesse Elbert Boss. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Richards (Bob), Alan Boss (Karen), Melanie Ruark (Jeff) and Suzanne Boss; his brother Wendell Boss; his grandchildren, Kristi Thompson, Laura Heath, Alana Boss, Katie Ruark, Danielle Hopkins, Lance Simonton and Tyler Bruce; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Haley, Sawyer, Allie, Nolan, Kenslee, Christopher, Colton, Preston, Sinnie and Ashlin.
