It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carter Jr. of Loganville, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Elizabeth Cooper and Richard Carter, Sr.; his sons, Michael Stuart Carter, Thomas Adrian Carter and Christopher Richard Carter (Patricia); his stepdaughter Sherry Phillips; and his former wife Carolyn Epting Carter.

He is survived by: his wife Eloise Lee Carter; his daughters, Michelle Nelson, Beth Carter Fullard (Terry), Elise Carter Clark (Ted) and Erin Carter Hill (Tommy); his stepson Joey Phillips (Andrea); and his close friend Paco. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and cherished pet.
