He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jerome and Bertha Martin (Skidmore); his siblings, Richard Martin, Roma Collins and Jackie Martin; and his nephew Jimmy Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Martin of Loganville, GA; his children, Tambra Martin of Holton, KS, Victoria Bickford (Firooz Nahai), Robin (Duane Rieschick), Jennifer (Daniel Davis), Gregg (Heather Martin), Jerry (J. C.), Diana Martin of Covington, GA and Matthew (Kati Martin); his brothers, William Martin and Rusty Martin; his nieces, Crytal Wyatt of Conyers, GA and Jill Day; and his nephew Ricky Martin of Gainesville, GA.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
