He is survived by: his mother Maxine Ratley; his wife Judy Crawley; his children, Don Oates and Kristin Chambers (Lyn); his siblings, Chuck Oates and Charlene Oates Hill; his stepchildren, Kathie Thompson (Jamie), Laura Meyer (Brad), Codie Thompson, Andrew Meyer, Selvey Chambers, Rhylyn Chambers and Gentry Chambers; and his pets, Lily and Lacy.
