She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Paul Lester, Jr.; and her parents, William Butler and Birdie Butler (Farmer). She is survived by: her son Jack; her daughter-in-law Glenda Lester; her grandson Steven; her granddaughter-in-law Cassie Lester; her granddaughter Amanda; her grandson-in-law Troy Ernst; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Samantha and Maddie; and her sister Louise Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
