She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Dell Williams and Eugene Scruggs; her husband Grady Lee Knight; her daughter Rebecca Smith; her sons-in-law, Mark Adams and Daniel Jackson; and her siblings, Elise Beavers, Tommy Scruggs, Billy Scruggs and Ronald "Tootsie" Scruggs.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Knight-Beers, Judy Adams of Toccoa, Sharon Jackson (Larry Barnes), Ronny (Diane Knight), Melvin (Deborah Knight) and John (Fiona Knight); her son-in-law Sandy Smith of Jefferson, Georgia; and her brother Nicky Scruggs of Gainesville, Georgia. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren will greatly miss "Grandma".
