She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Channell and Eldridge Channell (Bedsole). She is survived by: her husband James Cox of Loganville; her daughter Mary Beth; her son-in-law Daniel Gentry of Loganville; her brothers, R. H. (Lois Channell) and Gary (Debbie Channel); and her grandchildren, Merle Wright, Johnathan Gentry, Naiomi Gentry, Cain and Camryn. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
The lying in state was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Corinth Christian Church (1635 Hwy 81, Loganville, GA 30052). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
