She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Floyd and Cassie Judida Atkinson (Smith); and her brother Larry Atkinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly R. McKinney (Durham) of Conyers and Katherine M. Burrell of Loganville; her sister-in-law Ellen Atkinson of Franklin; her grandchildren, Cassie Haygood (Jack) of Walnut Grove, Brett Burrell (Courtney) of Statham, Bella McKinney of Conyers, Sam Burrell of Loganville and Jeni McKinney of Conyers; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Waldrip of Walnut Grove, Carter Waldrip of Walnut Grove, Skylar Burrell of Statham, Jackson Haygood of Walnut Grove, Emersyn Burrell of Statham, Hudson Haygood of Walnut Grove, Kennedy Burrell of Statham and Paisley Burrell of Statham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052).
