He is survived by: his son Derek Benton of Monroe, GA; his grandchildren, Brendan and Madison Benton of Seattle, WA; and his siblings, Margie Baker (Dennis) of Woodstock, GA, Clarke Benton (Cathy) of Canton, GA, Cosby Benton of Vidalia, GA and Ronnie Benton (Cheryl) of Glenwood, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
