He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Thomas Cross, Sr. and Myrtle Elizabeth Hembree Cross; and his brother Larry Cross. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dianne Cross; his children, Tina Thompson (Wade) of Loganville, Linda Sumlin (Eddy) of Monroe, Hugh Thomas "Tom" Cross (Lisa) of Jersey, Cesar Gomes (Juliana) of Alphaville and Zachary Harmon of Loganville; his grandchildren, LeAnne Fowler (RJ), Noelle Sumlin, Michael Cross, Alaina Sumlin, Clinton Cross, Georgia Cason (Ben), Jacquelyn Gingrich, Megan Cross, Alex Cross, Pedro Gomes and Felipe Gomes; his great grandchildren, Ardyn Fowler, Eleanor Cason and Hugh "Huey" Cason; and his siblings, James Cross, Deborah Riggins (William), Bobby Cross (Jeanette), Judy Hall and Donna Grier (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Snellville (3705 US-78, Snellville, GA 30039). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
