He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Carlsen, Sr. and Esther Julia Carlsen. He is survived by: his wife Cora Lee Carlsen; his brother Dale Carlsen (Rose Ann); his children, Deb Sumpter (Steve), Darcy Mallonee (Rick) and Jim Carlsen (Michelle); his grandchildren, Katie Fetzer, Joshua Carlsen, Nathan Mallonee, Jacob Carlsen, Eric Mallonee, Allie Sumpter and Mikaela Carlsen; his niece Dana Carlsen; and his nephew Chris Carlsen (Teresa).
