He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heil and Fay Heil. He is survived by: his children, Jason Bryant Heil (Anita), Melissa Heil Kirkland (Kenneth), Kristen Heil Vineyard (Bruce) and Jessica Pitts; his grandchildren, Bobby Kirkland (Lynn), Timmy Kirkland (Helena), Donny Kirkland (Brandy), Shelby, Cody Holmes, Andy, Joey Kirkland, Matthew, Luke Heil, Madison and Bruce Vineyard III; and his siblings, Linda Resto (Angelo), Gary Heil (Phyllis), Terri Thomas (Roger), Tom Larson (Sandi), Todd Heil (Betty), Paul Heil (Tammy) and Steve Heil (Kristin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and close friends.
