She was predeceased by: her husband Clay Byrd; her parents, William Hiram and Dora Bell Barrett (Watson); and her brother Charlie Floyd Barrett. She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Molly Byrd) of Loganville and Jimmy (Phyllis Byrd) of Loganville; her grandchildren, Laura, Chris Rhoades, Monica, Kevin Bell, Luann and Slate Long; her great grandchildren, Brittany Rhoades, Zachary Rhoades and Brayden Bell; her nieces, Joyce Conner and Vivian Bailey; and her nephew Wayne Barrett. She is also survived by several cousins; numerous family and friends.
