She was predeceased by: her son Todd Effel; her parents, Billy A. Welch and Nora Lorene Welch (Holland); and her siblings, Billy Welch and Judy Welch.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie Effel of Loganville; her daughter Cheree Forbes of Loganville; her grandchildren, Megan Forbes, Emily Effel and Grant Forbes; her sister-in-law Sylvia Miller; and her niece Angie Trimbach. She is also survived by several cousins, other family members, and dear lifelong best friends.
