He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Moon and Della Moon; his wife Janet Moon; his brother Gerald Moon; and his granddaughters, Janet Claire Blenk and Cindy Jenkins of Loganville, Georgia..
He is survived by: his brother Merritt Moon of Memphis, TN; his daughter Nancy Davis of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Scott Davis, Jeremy Davis and Catherine Davis; his daughter Sandra Rowell (Joe) of Memphis, TN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Pittman and Matt Rowell; his daughter Linda Blenk (Larry); his grandchildren, Russell Blenk, Andrew Blenk and Laura Parkinson; his daughter Susan Clines (Jim) of Loganville, GA; his grandchildren, Tom Jenkins and Jessica Jenkins; and his stepgranddaughters, Jeannie Cheek and Ashleigh Horn. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Center Hill Baptist Church (6372 GA-20, Loganville, GA 30052). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025.
