He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth Craddock Harrell; his parents, George Oscar Harrell, Sr. and Elizabeth Kiemer Harrell; his brother George Oscar Harrell, Jr.; his sister-in-law Carolyn Harrell Bong; and his parents-in-law, J. P. and Lois Dean Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Harrell (Harrison) of Loganville; his daughters, Amanda (Ryan Remillard) and Natalie Harrell of Loganville; his sister Patricia Sexton of Claxton; his grandsons, Owen, Eli and Evan Remillard; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Harrison of Loganville, Tim and Jennifer Harrison of Monroe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
