He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae Muirhead (Hendrix); his son Wayne Muirhead; his parents, John Muirhead and Jessie Belle Muirhead (Nix); and his sisters, Violet Cecelia Muirhead, Iris Elizabeth Roper and Rose Cariel Leach.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Al Wooten of Acworth; his son Jeff; and his daughter-in-law Maria Muirhead of Lawrenceville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces and nephews.
