She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Watts; and her stepfather Ray Raines. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Ross, Jr.; her daughters, Amanda Herndon (Clayton), Erin Smith (Justin Moulder), Morgan Ross (Matt Holmes) and Alexandra Ross; her grandchildren, Mason Geeslin, Hudson Jarrett, Lilah Jarrett, Case Herndon, Addy Clay Herndon, Dayn Sitton and Kameron Moulder; and her sisters, Tracey Hutto and Paige Martin.

Memorial donations may be made in April's name to the Alzheimer's Association (https://act.alz.org) , Georgia Chapter, 1 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
