He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ardell James and Doris Wilson James; and his sister Bonnie Cook. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey "Jeff" Alan James; his daughter-in-law Ginger; his grandchildren, Jaycie Banister, Ansley Johnson and Ethan Marchbank; his great grandchildren, Kayden and Coley; his nephew Dale Cook; his cousin Jan of Washington; and his pets, Polly and Molly.
