He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Donaldson; his children, Thomas Jay Donaldson (Sue), Robert Michael Donaldson Jr. (Heather), Margaret Lynn Bateman (Jeff) and Catherine "Kaki" Michelle Downing (Lance Crowe); his grandchildren, Robert Michael Donaldson III, Emma Faith Donaldson, Megan Powell (Chet), Zachary Donaldson (Julia), Drew Downing, Brock Downing, Katie Bateman and Conner Bateman; and his great grandchildren, Luca Downing, Liam Downing and Maverick Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.
